Terms & Conditions FinSyncBook – Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing FinSyncBook. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Short version: We provide professional bookkeeping and accounting services. You agree to provide accurate information, pay for services rendered, and use our platform responsibly. We protect your data and maintain confidentiality.

1. Definitions

"We", "Us", "Our" refers to FinSyncBook, the provider of bookkeeping and accounting services.

"You", "Your", "Client" refers to the individual or business entity using our services.

"Services" refers to the bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, CFO advisory, and other financial services provided by FinSyncBook.

"Confidential Information" includes all financial data, business records, and personal information shared with us during our engagement.

2. Services Provided

FinSyncBook offers professional financial services including but not limited to:

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping and monthly financial reporting
  • Payroll processing and contractor payments
  • Tax preparation support and VAT/GST tracking
  • CFO advisory services including cash flow analysis and forecasting
  • Catch-up bookkeeping for overdue accounts
  • Integration with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Synder, A2X)
  • E-commerce accounting for Amazon, Shopify, and other platforms

Services are provided virtually unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice.

3. Client Obligations

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely financial information and documentation
  • Respond promptly to requests for information or clarification
  • Maintain access to your accounting software and banking platforms as needed
  • Review all reports and communications promptly and notify us of any discrepancies
  • Pay all fees in accordance with your service agreement
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your business finances

Failure to meet these obligations may delay services or affect accuracy. We are not liable for issues arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.

4. Fees & Payment

Service fees are outlined in your service agreement or proposal. Payment terms include:

  • Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable
  • One-time projects require a deposit before work begins, with balance due upon completion
  • Payments are processed via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods
  • Late payments may result in service suspension and interest charges
  • We reserve the right to adjust fees with 30 days written notice

All fees are in USD unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

5. Confidentiality & Data Security

We take data security seriously:

  • All client information is treated as strictly confidential
  • We use bank-level encryption and secure servers to protect your data
  • We never share your information with third parties except as required to provide services or comply with law
  • Employees and contractors sign confidentiality agreements
  • You retain full ownership of your data

While we implement strong security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will promptly notify you of any known breach.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on our reports or advice
  • We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free

This section does not exclude liability for fraud, gross negligence, or where prohibited by law.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice:

  • Monthly subscriptions require 30 days written notice before the next billing cycle
  • We may terminate immediately if you breach these Terms and fail to remedy within 7 days
  • Upon termination, we will provide final reports and return your data within 30 days
  • Any outstanding fees become due immediately upon termination

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delaware.

These Terms & Conditions were last updated on February 27, 2026. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
