FinSyncBook is looking for an E-commerce Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on serving our growing portfolio of e-commerce clients, including Amazon FBA sellers, Shopify store owners, and multi-channel retailers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have specialized experience in e-commerce accounting, understanding the unique challenges of online retail including inventory tracking, multi-channel reconciliation, and sales tax compliance.
- 3+ years of e-commerce accounting experience
- Deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central and Shopify
- Experience with Synder, A2X, and Webgility
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and COGS calculation
- Understanding of sales tax nexus and compliance
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
As our E-commerce Accounting Specialist, you will:
- Reconcile Amazon settlement reports with bank deposits
- Track fees, refunds, and adjustments across all channels
- Manage inventory accounting and COGS calculation
- Set up and maintain integrations between e-commerce platforms and accounting software
- Prepare monthly P&L statements by channel
- Assist clients with sales tax compliance
- Analyze product-level profitability
- Help clients optimize their e-commerce financial operations
